Furniture First’s combined retail sales of over $2.8 billion allows our merchandising team to leverage our collective buying power. They work hard to find the best values on in-demand products for our Members by negotiating rebates and the best possible pricing from our suppliers. Their expertise and specialization in furniture and sleep products has helped Furniture First build a lineup of more than 110 furniture and mattress programs – more than any other furniture buying group. Our team gets furniture and understands the concerns and priorities unique to furniture and mattress retailers. We don’t carry appliance or electronics programs; our team is focused on the mission of helping independent furniture and mattress retailers thrive.
Our merchandising staff has a broad range of experience from retail, wholesale and sales backgrounds. They travel to the High Point and Las Vegas Markets twice a year, as well as High Point’s Pre-Markets. At any given market the Merchandising staff is likely to visit more than 100 showrooms, covering much more ground than one buyer could on their own.
